Zuppa Imperiale


Zuppa imperiale (imperial soup) is a dish that comes from Emilia Romagna, but there’s a similar version in Marche region, the so-called pasta reale. It consists of bites of semolina and Parmesan usually dipped in meat broth. Zuppa imperiale is a typical holiday dish, especially of Christmas.

Ingredients: eggs, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, soft wheat flour type 00, sunflower oil, salt, nutmeg, brewer’s yeast.
